Our impact

People first

At Altura, people come first — our customers, the crew we support, our team, and the wider community around us. The strength of our business lies in the relationships we build and the trust we earn.

We start by listening. Our customers guide our direction, and their feedback shapes how we move forward. We take the time to understand what matters, ask the right questions, and respond quickly. Just as importantly, we stay close to the crew — the ones on the front line, making it all happen. Their insight helps us fine-tune our service, anticipate needs, and keep improving.

This industry never really stands still, so we give our team the flexibility and trust to manage their time in a way that works. We don’t clock-watch — we focus on outcomes. Wellbeing matters too. We keep an eye on workloads, encourage open conversations, and make sure support is always on hand. Regular virtual town halls, honest one-to-ones, and local team get-togethers keep us connected and ensure feedback turns into action.

Recognition is part of our culture — whether it’s a shoutout, a thank you, a new opportunity, or simply taking time to celebrate a win. When our people thrive, so does the business. That’s why it will always be people first, at every level.

Purpose

Altura was built on values – and they continue to guide every decision we make. We do not overpromise or cut corners, and we do not force a one-size-fits-all approach… The aim is a business people believe in, long after they have moved on. Instead, we work closely with our clients and partners to create practical, long-term solutions that genuinely meet their needs.

We think hard about the impact of what we do – on passengers, crew, our team, and our suppliers – and aim to build respectful relationships that last. Being purpose-driven means making space for social good too – whether that’s donating to charities, supporting food banks, or backing causes that matter to our team. The aim is a business people believe in, long after they have moved on.

Responsible sourcing

We hold ourselves to high standards on ethical sourcing. We choose suppliers who share our values on fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for human rights. Our trading team works transparently, acting in the interest of the business, not personal gain, and flags any concerns around bribery or corruption.

We prioritise Fair Trade-certified products, cruelty-free cosmetics, sustainable timber, and local sourcing where possible – but we know we can go further. We assess environmental and social risks when selecting suppliers, analysing packaging and material innovation. We’re also looking at where we can reduce our logistics footprint and improve product design without compromising the high standards inflight products demand. For us, responsible sourcing is ongoing work, not a tick-box.

Sustainability and duty of care, built into the operation

We do not treat responsibility as a separate workstream. It runs through how we range, how we load, how we train crew and how we choose suppliers.
